Suriya's '24' teaser

 

 

The teaser of the Suriya starrer 24 has been revealed for the fans. Suriya dons extremely distinct avatars of an assassin and a scientist. The actor will be seen in stylish avatars and different get-ups that have grabbed the eyeballs. Looks like Suriya plays four different roles in the film and a watch is an important aspect in the film.

                             From the title (24 - which could me from 2 to 4) and teaser, looks like initially there are two Suriyas - one the scientist and the other a gangster. Nithya Menen seems to be playing the role the of the scientist's wife and the two have a kid, which could grow up to be one of the Suriya's who romances Samantha. There also seems to be another Suriya, who could be the scientist's twin - looking like an old villain and his son seems to be played by the gangster Suriya, who is called Artherya (who could be the scientist's other twin son, brought up by the older villain Suriya).

Directed by Vikram Kumar, 24 stars Suriya, Samantha and Nithya Menen in important roles with AR Rahman composing the music. The film is set to hit the screens in April. Samantha is paired with Suriya for the second time after 'Anjaan', in this film, which will be produced by the Suriya's home production 2D Entertainment.

Suriya donates 25 lakh for Chennai flood relief fund

Chennai has been battling with a flood situation for the last few weeks, courtesy the heavy downpour that lashed the city in the recent past. Now that the rains have come down, relief work has begun.Captain Vijayakanth, Vishal, Raghava Lawrence, Anirudh and many more have contributed to the Chennai flood relief fund. The latest addition to the list is Suriya Sivakumar.



The actor has donated a sum of rupees 25 lakh to the Chennai flood relief fund on behalf of his family. Nadiar Sangam president Nasser collected the amount from the actor at his house.

Suriya in '24'

Suriya has been extremely busy with his upcoming film '24' which is being directed by Vikram Kumar. Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been cast opposite Suriya in the film.
It was an exciting time for his fans and the audience when Suriya revealed the first look of the film
 on his Twitter page on Tuesday. He released two posters both of which were extremely different.
One poster showed him in a dapper look where is supposedly playing the role of an assassin. In the other poster, he is shown to be a scientist and has a very vintage look maybe from the 1930s.

                
     Rumour mills also suggest that Suriya will play triple role in the film which will be an element of surprise for the audience.
   Sources say that the movie has a lot of post-production work left because the movie is about time travel and the CG and VFX is likely to take some more time. As of now, the movie will release only in the summer of 2016.

SINGAM 3 WILL NOT BE...

Director Hari is currently in Malaysia for a location hunt for his next film Singam 3. Hari is known for his ability to do fast paced commercial films and his Singam and Singam 2 starring Suriya in the lead have turned out to be highly profitable in terms of box office collections. 

After the successful Singam and Singam 2, Durai Singam will once again don the khaki to chase the baddies. Though there was a connect between the first and the second instalment of the Singam series, Hari has planned to retain only the core character of Suriya in Singam 3 and is said to have come up with a completely new script for the 3rd film in this franchise. 

So precisely, Singam 3 is believed to be a fresh film and not a prequel or a sequel. Lot more action and lot more excitement are already in the air.

Poland beckons Suriya's '24'

Mumbai: The team of Suriya-starrer Tamil thriller ‘24’, which is currently on floors here, will head to Poland next week to shoot songs and a few important scenes for the film.

"The Mumbai schedule will be wrapped up by this weekend. Next week, the team will leave for Poland for a 20-day schedule to shoot two songs and some important scenes," a source from the film's unit said.
Being directed by Vikram Kumar, the film will reportedly see Suriya playing dual roles.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menen are the leading ladies.
Double Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman is scoring the music for the film, which also features veteran actor Girish Karnad in an important role.
